Tribrissen 80mg trimethoprim and 400mg sulphadiazine per mL, providing a synergistic action producing a sequential double blockade of bacterial synthesis of folinic acid.

Uses
The treatment of a wide range of bacterial diseases in cattle, goats, pigs, sheep and horses caused by organisms sensitive to potentiated sulphonamides, including:

  • Alimentary tract infections (neonatal diarrhoea and salmonellosis)

  • Diseases of the respiratory tract (pneumonia, rhinitis, bronchitis or infections secondary to viral pneumonias)

  • Urogenital infections (cystitis, nephritis, vaginitis and metritis including endometritis in mares).

Tribissen is a tried and trusted therapy, especially for enteric infection.
